Install as an app

Web notifications fire only while a tab is open. To get reliable reminders even when your browser is closed, install Daily Jewish to your Home Screen — it then runs like a native app.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

Open this app in Safari (not Chrome).
Tap the Share button (square with arrow).
Choose Add to Home Screen.
Open it from the Home Screen, then come back here and tap Test.

Samsung / Android (Chrome)

Tap the ⋮ menu in Chrome.
Choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
Open it from the Home Screen and allow notifications when asked.

Note: Reminders are checked every minute while the app is open. Once installed and notifications are allowed, they keep working in the background on most devices.
