Daily Jewish is operated by D. Soesan ("we", "us"), an individual sole proprietor. We are the data controller for personal data you provide to the Service.

  • Account data: email address, hashed password (or third-party login identifier), display name.
  • Practice data: prayer logs, streaks, journal entries, settings, and other content you enter into the app.
  • Friend / community data: connections you create with other users.
  • Support messages: what you send us through support channels.
  • Technical / telemetry data: device type, browser, IP address, error logs, basic usage events. Used to keep the Service stable and secure.

3. Why we use it

  • To create and operate your account (legal basis: performance of contract).
  • To provide the prayer, calendar, kosher, siddur, and friends features (contract).
  • To prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents (legitimate interests).
  • To improve the Service (legitimate interests).
  • To respond to support requests (contract / legitimate interests).
  • To send transactional emails (e.g. password reset). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

4. Who we share data with

  • Hosting and backend providers who store and process data on our behalf (cloud database, hosting, error tracking).
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where strictly necessary.
  • Authorities where required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.

We do not sell your personal data.
